Bryan Crigler

A few areas my undergraduate studies focused on include: intercultural communication, group communication, organizational communication, media persuasion, rhetoric, and public speaking. I have done work with a few different non-profit organizations mostly on the fundraising side, and in my last career I held a very successful direct sales and marketing position within a privately held CLEC. There is a reoccurring theme here: People. I know people. Through the years I have become an extremely accurate judge of character and have developed the unique ability to see through the fluff (to put it nicely). This ability allows me to thrive as a recruiter as I am able to pull out the best candidates and present them with the opportunities that they are truly interested in pursuing. I am a strong believer in living life on purpose and tend to expect the same out of those I choose to do business with.

When I started my recruiting career with MRI I chose banking as my desk specialty and studied under the MRI Winona banking team, whose combined experience in the financial world at the time exceeded 25 yrs. I have done very well in banking but decided to diversify since I also have a technology background. Now I split up my time between the two industries. I find it has only strengthened me as a recruiter since one industry is extremely candidate driven and the other is quite the opposite.
